Chidambaram is an architect and photographer based in Bangalore, India, with over seven years of experience in photography. His architectural film House of Memories, documenting a RIBA Pacific Award winning project, was officially selected for the 20th International Architecture and Urban Films Festival in Istanbul.

With a background in architecture and four years of professional practice, he transitioned fully into photography, bringing an understanding of space, proportion, materials and how architecture is experienced. Today, his practice focuses on architecture and interiors photographs and cinematic films that explore the character, atmosphere and story of a space.

He works closely with a select number of projects, giving each the time and attention it deserves. Rather than simply documenting a building, his approach is rooted in observation understanding the architect’s intent, watching how light moves through a space, and finding the details that give each project its identity.

His personal practice in travel, culture and documentary photography continues to shape his visual language, bringing a personal and human perspective to the way he photographs architecture.
